The problem with this plan is the asset the Habs want to trade (Drouin) nobody wants.
Perhaps Bergy attaches a couple 1st round picks and he gets moved. |

Hoffman isn't worth $5 million this flat cap era. |

Hoffman buzz.
All kidding aside, he is a premiere power forward that nearly every team would love to add. Any update on Haula? Is he still on the phone with the Oilers? |

6'0 / 182 lbs is a "power forward"?
Thought players were getting bigger over time, not smaller...

At first I didn't think Hoffman was a power forward either. But I now realize that not everything is about height and weight. Hoffman goes to the net and scored dirty goals. So that makes him valuable/powerful. Montreal could definitely use a power forward. Last great one they had was John Leclair. |

Ek this makes no sense. If this happens I'm ready to subscribe to a lifetime worth of season ticket holder. |

Pretty sure they traded for Josh Anderson in that regard. LW already with the team: Drouin, Tatar, Toffoli, Lekhonen, Byron. How many LWs a team can have?? |

Hoffman will end up in AZ. |

Didn't Anderson score 2 goals last year? That's not much of a power forward compared to Hoffman. Maybe they trade Tatar back to Detroit to make room for Hoffman? Ek has had Montreal in on Hoffman from the beginning so there is some smoke here. |

ya anderson scored 1 goal last year but also had 27 the year before. he was injured for most of the seaosn. Oh and hes also 6'3 222 hits and fights. hoffman is a soft perimeter shooter. DOnt get me wrong though he has a wicked wrister. but there is no way the habs make cap space for this guy. he probably doesnt want to play in mtl anyway. |

Kooleus' account has clearly been hacked....there's no way the real Kooleus would ever support ek voluntarily |

I used to give Ek a hard time. But he did say many times that the Flames were making a move for Markstrom. He totally nailed it. So if he says Montreal is in on Hoffman, or that the Oilers are talking to Haula in order to then flip him for MAF...well then we should start to believe this stuff. Especially stuff that is E4 or higher. |

No no no don't go to the dark side! He finally threw enough poop at the wall to get one that stuck....one! Out of so many; and what about how Malkin wants to be the man? And why isn't there a blogger for PhoeArizona yet? We need Yotes news immediately! You can't fall prey to the venomous tongue and false prophecy of the e ratings system! If you've fallen, then next thing we know, garf will pen a blog without using asinine puns and homoerotic descriptions of teenagers! The world is BURNING |

This phrase alone makes me 98% certain that ek himself has hacked your account. Or maybe James Tanner is finally exacting his vengeance on you...but he would surely mention himself or John Chayka, so I doubt it's him |

So maybe he heard several sources talking about Malkin being traded but in the end it didn't happen. I guess they traded Hornquist instead. That happens. Some rumours don't actually unfold. No big deal.

No disrespect but you are giving way too much credit to Ek...how many made up rumors were all smoke in mirror, i mean really? |
